The links to the brand go back to 1920
when the designer Coco Chanel discovered Cremerie de Paris
with her Russian boyfriend Dmitri Romanov,
great-uncle of todays Cremerie de Paris / VB.com

What is left from their Love Affair
is N°5, the CC Logo and a little jewel,
who would - over half a century later - help to reopening of Cremerie de Paris N°1
fallen asleep after the departer of the Les Halles foodmarket.

1970 Chanel gave the jewel to her friend Aimée Sotto Maior,
a secret service agent that had arrived in Paris in 1938.

Chanel returned to the Cremerie de Paris / VB in the 1960ies,
when she could not sleep at night
many times accompagnied by her friend Aimée.
Nightwalks through Paris from place Vendome
to the Halles Centrales foodmarket.

1993 it was possible to buy Cremerie de Paris N°1.
As there was not enough money
Aimée decided to help by selling the little Chanel jewel,
as if her Gabrielle had told her to continue the VB story ...

A little later a dot com was added to VB
making it possible to create this Book Store
