The Chanel store in Deauville
opened in 1913.
It closed in 1939 at the outbreak of worldwar II.

It was located at the corner of Hotel Normany
facing the Casino in the golden triangle of Deauville.
The street is now names Lucein Barriere
after the later owner of the Hotel Normandy
and the Hotel chain Barriere.

Coco Chanel stayed in Deauville
with her boyfriend Boy Chapel.

The Boutique closed in 1939 at the outbreak of Worldwar II.

Hermes still owns it's historic Boutique
located just opposit the historic Chanel Boutique,
now occupied by the clothing brand Zadig & Voltaire.
