Modern fashion photography was born
when three Parisian postcard photographers,
the brothers Henri Jules and Louis Seeberger
started to photograph
French society in the early twentieth century.
The fashion houses Chanel and Hermes
pushed their models to be photographed
with the beau monde.
The books shows 300 black and white
Seberger images,
that interest
for fashionistas
and Chanel Lovers.
Elegance recalls a bygone era of glamour,
and illuminates the candid beginnings
of a now highly stylized photographic form.
