1985 : Sony's corporate downsizing in 1985 brought the founders together.
1986 : MSI was established, focusing on the design and manufacture of Mainboards and Add-on Cards.
1988 : MSI moved its production facility to Ho-Ping W. Rd. Taipei, Taiwan.
1997 : Inaugurated the MSI Plant I in Jung-He, the suburb of Taipei.
1998 : MSI became a public company with an Initial Public Offering on the Taipei Stock Exchange.
2000 : MSI Computer (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. was founded.
2002 : MSI Inaugurated its EU Hub in the Netherlands.
2008 : MSI was ranked among the Top 20 Taiwan Global Brands.
