One of the reasons why the ad was made was also for the employées
like a "wake up call".

The campaign has also been a key to the renewal of Apple loyalty and excitement in the world, beeing a central factor in Apple’s recovery from financial difficulty

Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

When Jobs returned to Apple in 1997
one of his ideas was the make a more prominent use of the Apple Logo.
The intention was to place a larger Apple Logo on Apple products.
As the rainbow color was more difficult to integrate into the design
of the computers, the color became monechrome.
In 1998 the Apple became black, in 2001 silver and in 2003 metallic.

The metallic version lights up when different items are in activity.
The Apple is the world's most valuable technology logo.
